Abstract Information

The abstract submission period for the 2022 Preparedness Summit, Reimagining Preparedness in the Era of COVID-19, is CLOSED. This year’s Summit Planning Committee invited public health, healthcare, disaster relief, emergency management, and other professionals nationwide to showcase and share their research findings, best practice training models, tools, or other resources that advance the field of public health and healthcare preparedness and response. Summit Planning Committee members will review all abstracts and final selections will be made by the Summit Chair.

Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent to the Abstract Submitter by late January 2022. As a reminder, we are unable to offer travel reimbursements for speakers/presenters.

At this time, NACCHO is moving forward with planning a fully in-person Preparedness Summit for 2022. As we work to determine the best format for the meeting, NACCHO is considering the possibility of later adding a virtual component to the in-person meeting. NACCHO will be in touch with all submitters should a virtual component become available and will provide details when confirmed.

If you have questions about the abstract submission process, please contact Natasha Korba at 703-964-1240 ext. 140 or summitspeakers@conferencemanagers.com.
