Preparedness Appreciation Reception

Recent surveys by the CDC and the deBeaumont Foundation found that around half of public health workers reported adverse mental health symptoms related to depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Join us as we uplift our public health and preparedness professionals and celebrate their outstanding work at the 2023 Preparedness Summit.

Show your support by attending our first-ever Preparedness Appreciation Reception to be held on Wednesday, April 26 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. During this event, we will recognize and celebrate the arduous work of all local health departments, MRC units, and other agencies, who have worked tirelessly to keep our communities safe, not only during the pandemic, but every day.

During the reception, VIP speakers (to be named later) will acknowledge and stress the importance of local health departments and public health professionals. Tickets are $32 (which is the per diem amount for dinner). The event includes an hour of open bar for non-alcoholic beverages (and a cash bar for alcoholic beverages), passed hors d’oeuvres, a three-course dinner, and dancing!

To add the Reception to your existing Preparedness Summit registration, please login to your MyNACCHO account and purchase the Public Health Appreciation Reception by going to “My Events” then selecting “Add Workshops”. Step-by-step instructions.
